Print Alternatives

The RSB can provide an individual transcription service to clients through the Print Alternatives team. Audio, large print, tactile, computer voice out-put files and braille mediums can be used for transcription. This service is particularly useful for tertiary students who may require the transcription of textbooks or other learning materials, where there is difficulty in obtaining the material.

Access to a library is also available with a choice of around 12000 braille or talking book titles. Books cover a wide range of recreational and non-fiction reading and arrive and are returned by post over a period of eight weeks.
